Richard Russell

Richard has been part of the team at the Hewitt Centre for almost 10 years, and was appointed a Substantive Consultant a little over 2 years ago. He holds subspecialty accreditation, is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, and has previously served on the Executive and Training Committees of the British Fertility Society. He is also a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. Richard currently practices Reproductive Medicine and Surgery as well being a general Gynaecologist. He is Lead Consultant for Andrology (male fertility) including fertility preservation, joint lead for our Surrogacy Service, Clinical Governance Lead and Menopause Service Lead. He has a particular interest in both male and female fertility issues, with particular interest in implantation failure, sperm donation, advanced ultrasound imaging and laparoscopic surgery.
