Karen is a Consultant Nurse at the Hewitt Fertility Centre who qualified as a nurse in 1985.

For the last 34 years Karen has worked within the field of Reproductive Medicine and is passionate and totally committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

Karen is a former Chairperson of the British Fertility Society (BFS) Training committee and was the first non-medical person to be appointed. Karen has also been previously been an elected nurse member on the BFS Executive Committee and is now a current Trustee of the BFS.  Karen's role has led to presenting at national and international meetings and in 2016 was given the privilege to spend time in the University Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia teaching basic ultrasound to the doctors and nurses.

Karen is passionate about her role and the importance of imparting her knowledge and expertise to her nursing colleagues to ensure our patients, receive the best care and experience during their treatment at the Hewitt.
