Miss Nicola Tempest is a Senior Lecturer, Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Consultant Gynaecologist. Nicola received her PhD from the University of Liverpool in 2018 and since then has continued her basic science endometrial research alongside her clinical work, focussing on recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage. Her research has won prestigious prizes and led to multiple publications. Nicola has also completed clinical projects with the aim of optimising embryo transfers, understanding the effects of exercise on fertility and the psychological aspects of chronic pelvic pain and fertility treatment.

Nicola specialises in minimal access surgery for fertility patients with a focus on hysteroscopic surgery (for endometrial polyps and fibroids) in an outpatient setting.  

Nicola is part of the Specialist Interest Group for implantation and early pregnancy for ESHRE, organising, attending and speaking at many International events.
