Having fertility problems and going through treatment can have significant impact on our emotional and psychological well-being as this challenge can create overwhelming feelings such as helplessness, unfairness, confusion, disappointment and a sense of failure.

Recent research has shown that Mindfulness based programs can help reduce anxiety, promote self-esteem and lessen depressive symptoms.

Mindfulness can be helpful if you are prone to worrying about the future, or find it hard to let go of events from the past by helping you take control of your mind, rather than letting it be in control of you.

The Hewitt Fertility Centre counselling team are running a mindfulness group for our patients
Monday evenings, from 6pm – 7pm, at the Hewitt Fertility Centre in Liverpool.

Each week will cover different short mindfulness practices, with a talk about each. 

The group is free of charge and you can just turn up on the night. There will be a rolling programme of sessions and you can join in at any time; you don’t have to come every week, you can just attend as and when you want to.
